Many people have a custom of reading Mishnayos on a person's yahrzeit. For each letter of the deceased person's name, a Mishna starting with that same letter, is read. The hard part is finding those Mishnayos. Let us suppose that you wanted to say Mishnayos for "Tzvi'. There are only 6 mishnayos in all of 'shas' that start with a Tzadi. Finding one of them is a challenge. Here is an index of all Mishnayos sorted by the Hebrew letter that they start with, which would make finding Tzadi, Bais, and Yud (for Tzvi) an easy task. This is freeware and is in tealdoc format. UniBible is a multilingual Bible-reader program for the PalmOS. There are many versions of the bible available for it, including a Hebrew version of the tanach (Old Testament) with nekudot and trop (vowels and cantillation marks), as well as an English version of the tanach from the Jewish Publication Society. Hebrew Support is NOT needed for this software. Please note that although the software is made by a Christian group, they have texts available that I believe are 'kosher' by Jewish standards. Specifically, they have the JPS (Jewish Publication Society) text in English and BHS (Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia) in Hebrew. Please let me know if you don't believe that these texts are acceptable by Jewish standards.
