Penticon Technologies Ltd. - Freeware
The five Megillot (Ruth, Esther, Song of Songs, Lamentations, and Ecclesiastes) that are read throughout the Jewish year are available in Hebrew with English translations from Penticon's Moadon Site.

Richard Davidovici - Freeware
This is a DOC file in Hebrew of the 10th perek (chapter) of Gemara Pesachim, until the end of the mesechta (tractate), which discusses the various laws of Pesach (Passover). The file includes Rashi's commentary, as well as bookmarks.

Yeshiah Zalman - Shareware
This is a software bundle of the Dreidel (Dreidle) Game/Simulator and the Menorah Simulator plus the text of the book 'Maccabees'. The Menorah simulator explains the laws and concepts of Chanukah (Hanukkah) and Menorah along with an animated visual counting of the eight nights of Chanukah. (If you have Penticon's Luach installed it will show you what night of Chanukah (Hanukkah) it is and how many candles to light.) The simulator will also give you the blessings for the Menorah lighting as well as play a Chanukah song (Ma'oz Tzur). The Dreidel game is an animated dreidel (the traditional spinning toy played with on Chanukah) just in case you're ever in need of a game but find yourself without an actual dreidel. This app also explains the rules of the game. Have Fun!

It includes the ability to generate Jewish calendars for any date, and any place on earth, including holidays, yahrtzeits, candle lighting times for Shabbos, torah portions, Omer counting, and many other features. Now you can "Count the Omer" on your Palm organizer. Omer provides you with the complete Hebrew text of "Sefirat Ha'Omer" and on each day it provides you with the specific information that you need to say that day. You can also set an alarm to remind you to count. In order to use Omer you need to have Hebrew Support and Luach from Penticon installed on your Palm Organizer. Make sure to read the "readme.txt" file carefully before installing Omer.
