Palm Desktop Software
The following are various pieces of software that run on a PC, NOT on a Palm, but are either used together with a Palm device, or are helpful in other ways. Please read the descriptions for more information.
DeskPilot
Doug Case - Freeware
DeskPilot is a Windows 95/NT application that mimics your PalmPilot on your desktop PC. It allows you to see all of the information that is on your Pilot quickly and easily on your desktop PC (without opening the Palm Desktop).The reason it is here is because I was told that unlike the Palm Desktop if you're using Penticon's Hebrew Support you could see your Hebrew Pilot Memo's etc. using it.

Easy DOCViewer
Aaron Engel - Freeware
Easy DOCViewer is a Windows 98/NT application that allows you to view Palm DOC files on your PC (not your PalmPilot) quickly and easily. You can even read Hebrew DOC files with it if you have a Hebrew font installed on your computer. For more information click the Download link.

StuffIt Expander
Aladdin Systems - Freeware
This is another .zip decompressor that I recommend. I am including this here because there is a Macintosh version available as well for those of you that use a Mac.

TWord
TurEl - Shareware
TWord is a DOC creator and converter for MS Windows. TWord is the only DOC converter/creator that supports right-to-left typing for easy creation of Hebrew DOC files on a PC with settings for Middle East.

WinZip
Nico Mak Inc. - Shareware
All of the files available for download on PilotYid are compressed in the '.zip' format. You need a Zip decompression program to decompress these files before using them. WinZip is one of the best Zip decompression programs that exists I provided this link just in case you don't have a decompression program. WinZip is shareware, but is free to try.
