This is the new, online version of my old ShamashToDoc Converter. From this new online version you can download a DOC file containing a list of kosher restaurants, including bookmarks, for any place in the world directly from PilotYid.com. The data is pulled from Shamash.org's online Kosher Restaurant Database and then converted into Palm DOC format. For more info click on the 'Download' link to go to the page.

HebCal is a great Jewish calendar website. It includes the ability to generate Jewish calendars for any date, and any place on earth, including holidays, yahrtzeits, candle lighting times for Shabbos, torah portions, Omer counting, and many other features. The HebCal website allows you to easily import any of this information into your Palm through the Palm Desktop software. The HebCal site uses the HebCal software written by Daniel Sadinoff. ScrollScraper is a web-based "virtual tikkun" which lets a Torah reader extract a section of Torah which they're planning to study and read in a service. This extracted section can either be printed, saved on the computer for review, or transfered to a handheld device for future study. The output looks like it does in a Torah scroll and contains the trop (cantillation marks).

This is a web-clipping application that allows a PalmOS wireless user to search the contents of the Shamash Kosher Restaurant Database from anywhere. The Shamash database contains the most complete list of kosher establishments around the world. In addition to searching you can extend the Shamash database with the convenient "Add a restaurant" feature. Through the web-clipping history mechanism searches can be saved for use when overseas or out of range of the wireless network.
